I've enjoyed Apple for sometime, they produce technology that is visually beautiful while working like a champ. Alot of companies aren't able to say that, it's typically one or the other. Tech businesses don't usually take aesthetics seriously like Apple. With that being said I've got to say that I'm very excited about the new iSlate. One thing I question though, is it too soon? I think that this product may be ahead of its time. What do you think?

We actually have the proper way to modify the screen color of an iPod. We can modify the backlight to a few different colors and is very affordable as well.
Actually this is a pretty easy hack if you aren't a re re. But a much better hack can be done just as easily. You can cut a small sliver of a colored lighting gel and slip it in front of the three led lights on the left side of the ipod screen to change the color of the backlighting so when the ipod is off it looks like the real deal. I did this with mine and used an amber gel to change the color. You just have to be forewarned that the color will be a little lighter than the gel itself, so adjust accordingly.

Damn, thats a ghetto hack! Pretty cool, but yah. I opened my girlfriend's ipod because she dropped it and it was past the warranty, but it was tough! very easy to screw it up. I don't recommend you do this one! you're better off just getting a rubber skin for it an just putting the film between the ipod glass and the skin. Easier, and looks just as good!
