I know this is pushing the envelope but could you add a couple rows of other colors to blend colors so that there is more than one. i know that the timing would be extremely hard to work with but is there a way to so this? i am not really knowledgable about graphics cards especially home-made ones but could you do this at all? would the colors blend easily?

Yeah, Vince pointed that out to me. I wasn't working here at the time otherwise I probably would have remembered it. Somebody sent it in and I thought "hey, that's sweet" and put it up.

While this is cool, it was posted back in april as a hackaday link http://www.hackaday.com/entry/1234000010038658

In fact, in the last few days, this is the second re-posting of previous hacks. Ref yesterdays post on aux audio jack in car http://hackaday.com/entry/1234000220046664/ vs. a post from just a week previous http://www.hackaday.com/entry/1234000897045842/

What is going on here? I visit hackaday faithfully several times a day, everyday to have the prmise fulfilled: "hack a day serves up a fresh hack each day, every day from around the web and a special how-to hack each week."

That was one of the coolest stuff I have seen lately. Really simple idea but at the same time its such a great idea.

Would be cool to see this in a shop or something but it won't happen... Just to learn how to build it then :)
