I would make it to get gps fix every 5 minutes or like (assuming you not travelling in super sonic jet) so that it does not drain the battery

It’s a brilliant idea but would depend on a strong GPS signal and the app would need to be running constantly, possibly draining the battery. Anyone have experience with it?
