I got 3G signal but when attempt to connect I got an authentication error or something like that. Is there any code or something to be done to make this SIM card work with the computer?

No luck. The one in my cell is thin and cardboardy and while it fit in the slot, it actually slid in and I had to use a pair of needlenose and a whole lot of wiggling to get it back out. My guess is that there is another type of sim card or an adapter needed.
