No idea what it means but I’m glad you-tube allows for playing back at slower speeds as I wasn’t going to get all three otherwise (oh and the rest of the video was a bit cryptic but I’m guessing that’s about another competition)

An asteroid?
4185? you guys suck (in a good way). Last time you did something like this it ruined a good part of a weekend. Well, at least I got a badge out of it. One question, why did you send it on Monday, I have to work.

Assuming this is some form of puzzle…
There are 4 numbers at the end of the video (bottom right, approx 0:44) which reads: 4185. A quick google of 4185 didn’t return much of interest except for an asteroid (4185 Phystech, discovered 1975).
However, searching ‘Apollo 11 4185’ (the guy in the suit has an Apollo 11 badge), gives a link to a NASA website looking at the Apollo 11 landing site (http://svs.gsfc.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/details.cgi?aid=4185).
Don’t know what the title (02,02) means.
In the url of this post has the number 1407981609 which might link to the ‘one time use pad’ on the hackaday store. (http://store.hackaday.com/products/1407981609)
Clues? or thoughts of a mad man … not sure … hopefully someone else knows more! :)
02/02 = It’s the 2nd of February :-)
1407981609 is probably a UNIX timestamp, which translates to “Thu, 14 Aug 2014 02:00:09 GMT”. Unfortunately, no hints on http://hackaday.com/2014/08/14/ , except for some THP posts.

For some reason I only see “5” at that point in the video.
The 02,02 may also refer back to Hackaday “Transmission #2” from April 8 2014. The redundant “02” may follow the “All good things repeat repeat” theme.
I am wondering now if binary data is encrypted / hidden in the static within, or at the end of the video.
I just watched it again, and at normal speed, I see the 4185. But frame by frame (for some reason) I only see the 5.

Ahhh, had to do this the day I start university! With reluctance I’m going to have to let others play along to whatever ARG they’re running this year. Good luck all, and I can’t wait to read how it went. Everyone, I remember how fun it was collaberating on the last puzzle, so why not joing ##hackaday and see how quickly you can solve it!
I think there is some data in the audio, if you listen closely, it does not truly repeat, Also the Static is not the same throughout the clip. I don’t have the tools here to do much more digging.
FWIW, it looks like the footage was shot on the back lot of Apex Electronics down in CA.

It’s interesting that they took a long sweeping shot of a piece marked Fuselage….maybe a contest to build something?

Well, the reflection is of the surroundings. Get a nice curvature of the horizon with the helmet though due to the shape.
