The Hackaday community now uses Hackaday.io. The forums are in read only mode to preserve the information but you cannot register a new account.
Why forum are closing any specific reason?

Nobody really used the forum all that much, so it wasn’t worth the upkeep / security risk for us to maintain.
We keep thinking about it, though. Contact us directly (editor@hackaday.com) if you’ve got any good ideas.
