Nixie clocks seem to be a right of passage. [jkx] sent us something a little different. I’m diggin this one because the russian tube is pretty esoteric. He’s got a few nice looking projects up. (His tube amp is a beauty.) And yeah, there’s a video.

that is a cool tube, if it were alphanumeric it would make a bitchin status display for a computer. cpu temp, % ram used, email notification, etc.
this would even be cool for games. remaining ammo, armor, health, etc.
i only list things for fps games because those are the only worthwhile games to play. commence flamewar.
Is it just me or does that clock seem to be ticking a bit too fast? That thing is sweet though.
Brian, on the video I used a fake oscillator so yes on the video it go a bit too fast ;)
