Synth link roundup

On Monday I asked for synthesizer link submissions in honor of Robert Moog.

I was listening to Fresh Air on NPR last night and they replayed an interview with Moog from 2000. He plays a couple samples on the Minimoog [synthmuseum]. Switched-On Bach was also mentioned. I’ll have to look around the house for that; it was the first 8-track my dad bought.

In highschool Moog was building Theremins. Plans can be found in English, in Engrish, in German, and in legaleese. [Tim Lu]

thanks for the sound-lab mini synth.. its exactly what i’ve been looking for.. and it takes guitar input too.. excellent!

anyone have more info than the home site on the 1-bit groove box? It has peaked my interest but the ’site seems to have lost the majority of its contents (or never had it in the first place)

I second sharpie’s thanks for the post on the sound-lab mini synth. The guy that runs that and designed is brilliant. His name is Wilson and just like Carson handed the torch to Leno or Joshua took over for Moses, I think Wilson is the next name in synths… If you’re at all interested in synths, check out the the sound-lab. (And wait to you see what he’s cooking up in the lab…it’s awesome!!!)
