you can speed up (or slow down) many of the pocket pcs out there, just using software. speeding up things is the obvious fun thing, but if you’re looking to max out your battery life you can throttle the processor back, all from a control panel.

With a Dell AximX3i, I hear you can overclock it enough to run a playstation emulator at a playable speed, more than likeley soundless, but still…damn that’s cool.
For all you guys/gals out there that want a good program to use to overclock your PPC try “Pocket Hack Masters”. The program rocks! It will set you back bout $10-20 bucks tho. The program speeds up the cpu and you can set the speed of your apps as well. Butt really check it out at http://www.antontomov.com, http://www.pocketgear.com, http://www.handango.com.
Using a hp pocket pc here, overclock it from 316 MHz to 520 MHz. A real boost for video playback, but still not enough to emulate GBA or Playstation.
overclock the pocket pc – Hack a Day great article thank you.
