i have found a hack to get through the privacy lock on the sidekick 2 (dont know if this works on the sidekick 1).
1) go to the screen where you enter the code
2) press the menu and jump buttons together
3) press all four of the buttons at the same time (it will take a few tries) (the four buttons: menu, cancel, back, and jump)
4) you should now be at the jump screen bypassing the privacy lock. now you can do whatever you want on it, but be sure to change it to a code you can remember.

I recently found out that the Nokia 6610i is capable of being programed for use as a spy phone. I found that out on my local tv newscast doing a piece about spy phones available on the net. So I started to google the Nokia 6610i to find out how to do it, but could only find vendors that sell them, not any information on how to do it. And before you think they are special phons that have been modified internally, they are not, because the news segment interviewed a Nokia spokesperson and she said that they are programed by key code, but did not go into detail. So since you guys are connected to a vast array of contacts that would probably know how to do it, could you email me the instructions. Thank You!
same error happens when I try look at the portable hotspot
everyone wanting to upload RINGTONES, here it is…:
1.)edit any part of a song u want as your ringtone, smaller than 15seconds, or it will not work. save it to your computer…
2.)email the snip as an attachment and send it to your sk2…
3.)go on your sk2 and open the received email and scroll down untill you see the attachment, it will say play ringtone, and add to ringtones.
4.)you’re done. a good program to use to edit your audio is “blaze media pro”, u can download it off the net for free.

Hey, I don’t know if it was covered or not, but if you hit the top left corner button …then go to settings, then system info….then it’ll bring up a window with a bunch of info……hold the top left button while also holding shift and s and it’ll bring up a diagnostics window which allows you to play with some of the phones features….enjoy
