Hackaday Podcast 058: Motorheads, 3D Prints That Bend Metal, And Homebuilt Onewheel Deathmachines

Hackaday editor Elliot Williams and contributor Jonathan Bennett discuss the past week of Hackaday. Freeman Dyson, who wanted to send us to space on the back of nuclear explosions, passed away. Only slightly less dangerous, we looked at self-balancing vehicles, 3D printed press brakes, and making rubies in the home lab. All the usual suspects make cameo appearances: robots, FPGAs, and open-source software.

    1. Hey, Jonathan. Please keep up the awesome work you are doing. Your security round-up is how I discovered Hackaday, and one of the main reasons I keep coming back. It takes a huge amount of work to stay on top of such a volatile subject and an equally huge degree of skill to summarise it in such a readable way.
Thanks, and massive respect to you man!

  1. Hi! It seems like there is a fault in the Direct Download? If I click it, it opens a tab with an address of API Soundcloud something, which is pretty empty, nothing to download. If I right-click and click Save Link As…, it is not an audio file, but a two byte file named “download” with no extension. Its content is “{}”
