i have this rc helicopter that i am thinking of converting to a bluetooth controller, just to see if it’s possible. so after digging around, i found this hack and how-to on outfitting a rc car to runĀ bluetooth and control it with a phone. the site also includes the source code to run on a nokia series 60 bluetooth enabled phone.

i’m using vonage, the voice over ip service, and it turns out you can get a special type of add-on called a “softphone account” which allows you to use software on a mac, pc, linux computer to make and receive phone calls as well. turns out you can use just about any wi-fi enable pocket pc as phone too.
